Sustainable growing practices, free range hens and farm shop

Grustorp’s trademark is sustainable horticulture, which means that chemical pesticides are banned, as are synthetic fertilizers. We sell our own seasonal vegetables in the farm shop, as well as honey, bird boxes and other nice things. The forest garden is like the edge of a woodland, where vegetation is planted together in tiers. In it you’ll find walnut, chestnut, fruit trees & bushes and edible perennials. There’s also a greenhouse and woodland area in the nursery grounds. Our priority here is growing things to eat.  Did you know by the way that both hosta and day lilies are edible? 

There’s plenty of room to enjoy your own picnic. We have a customer toilet. Dogs on leads are welcome. Parking places for cars but not for buses. Guided tours are also offered in English.
