Kinnekulle – nature reserve and one of Sweden’s five biosphere areas. Well worth a visit!

Come and be inspired in this fantastic setting. Thanks to Lake Vänern the climate is favourable, with lengthy springs, and long mild autumns.  We share our outside spaces with fallow deer and other animals. In the flower beds you can admire, amongst others, the lavender, roses, mallow, sedum and day lilies. The idea is to let them run a little riot, so they can spread and mix naturally.  Around the shop we’ve sown plants suiting the style of the building, built back in 1857, that will attract bees and insects as well. Handens Hus offers inspiration on many levels, whether it’s about gardening, textiles, antiques, plant pots or iron.  Treat yourself to a restful and uplifting stop here.

Current opening times are on our website. Dogs on leads are welcome. Car park and toilet for customers. We help visitors in wheelchairs with accessibility.
