PYO cut flowers, apple pressing and much more

Find a harmonious blend of flowers and vegetables here, between gravelled paths, in a well-established market garden setting. From July-September the garden is open for visits from Monday to Saturday. When the blooms are ready the flower plot opens, and when the vegetables in the beds and greenhouse can be harvested they can be purchased in the unmanned farm shop by the roadside. There is seating in the garden for anyone wanting to bring their own picnic. Towards aurumn we start pressing apples, both from our little orchard and garden donations. The farm’s own apple juice is available to buy.

Everything in the nursery is grown without chemical fertilisers and pesticides. We sometimes put on different garden, food and craft workshops and events. There is accommodation next to the garden, for more information see the website.

There is parking for both buses and cars next to the garden. We ask larger groups wanting to visit to get in contact in advance. As the garden paths are gravelled accessibility for rollators and wheelchairs can be limited. Dogs on leads are welcome. The garden’s opening times are on our website. It costs nothing to visit but you are welcome to leave a donation, of which 10% goes to the Bee Fund.
