From blossoming apple trees in spring to PYO pumpkins in autumn

In the garden shop you’ll find a seasonal assortment of perennials, vegetable plants, herbs and flowers grown on site and by local gardening friends. There’s also a selection of garden supplies including seeds, topsoil, compost, pots.

During spring we recommend a visit to the apple orchard when the trees are blossoming, it’s really something special! When the tomatoes start ripening in the greenhouse and the cut flowers are out, we open our PYO. Take the opportunity to pick your own sun warmed tomatoes direct from the plant, or a lovely bouquet. As soon as the vegetables in the greenhouses and beds are ready to harvest you can buy them here.

During the summer months we sell coffee and ice cream, and you can bring your own picnic to enjoy in the garden. In summer the old onion cellar is transformed into a pop-up shop with second-hand/vintage items.

Towards autumn, with the apple season, the farm’s apple press is set up to make juice with apples from our own little orchard and other people’s gardens. The garden year comes to a close with the popular PYO pumpkin in October. Because most of what we grow is edible we have chosen to not use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides at all.

Accommodation is available adjacent to the garden, read more about it on our website. Dogs on leads are welcome. There is parking for both buses and cars. Guided tours are available by request. As the garden paths are laid with gravel, accessibility for rollators/wheelchairs can be limited.
