Everything from Christmas trees to orchids is grown here.

This varied garden is divided into different rooms or themes. You can enjoy among other things a show border full of perennials, a peaty border with unusual plants, rose beds, grandma’s borders, sunny borders, a Japanese inspired corner, a woodland and much more. In the ponds frogs and toads keep company with salamanders and we have koi carp in one of them. The birdlife is also abundant here and you are welcome to sit and eat the picnic you have brought with you while you admire nature’s wonders. The garden is at its best during spring and summer, but autumn is also a lovely time to visit.

Dogs on leads are welcome and most of the garden is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. There’s parking for cars and parking for coaches can be arranged if needed. If you are travelling by bus take the no. 733 or 734 from Kungsbacka and get off at the Gärdet stop which is 100 m from the garden. There is a toilet. Coffee and cakes are usually on sale, but there is no permanent café. Guided tours in Swedish and English can be arranged, and the garden is open for visitors and groups by arrangement.
