The museum garden in Bräcke

Bräckeliden 103, 471 72 Hjälteby
The original aromatic garden was laid in 1985 and is now a herb garden, growing a range of old fashioned herb varieties. At the heritage centre there’s a traditional ‘dubbelhus’ (double width house) containing a museum, as well as a small cottage, a longhouse, smithy, school, store and barn, with a large assembly room and café. Open for tours Sundays in July and August 3pm-6pm. During May-September groups can book tours via tel.
