Magnolia expertise in a rural setting.

A rural garden with many perennials and bulbs, masses of interesting varieties of young bushes and trees, and a large kitchen garden with fruit trees and bushes, raised beds, hot beds and a greenhouse. The garden is north facing but is terraced with stone walls to make it easier to cultivate as well as to improve the micro climate.

A walk round the garden will provide inspiration and ideas for what you can do in your own green space. There are also meadows, lovely enclosed pastures and a woodland that is getting bigger every year, as well as plenty of benches to sit on and enjoy the view. There’s also a pergola with seating if you want somewhere to eat your own picnic. Refreshments are available to buy on Open Garden days. You’re welcome to take a tour of the garden when the nursery is open. Guided tours, in Swedish and English, are available on Open Garden days. Tours at other times or for larger groups can be booked in advance. There is parking for coaches. No nearby bus or train service. Public toilet. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Accessibility for prams, rollators and wheelchairs is good on the gravel paths throughout the garden. There’s a ramp up to the nursery and shop with sales of ceramics. The nursery has a special collection of magnolias, ornamental bushes and trees, perennials and ornamental grasses, ferns and bulbs.
