OPENING TIMES AT Villa Lindström & Kikongo Garden design Falköping

2024: Garden open 30 of June 10.00-17.00.

A wonderful mix of inspiring garden design and carefully chosen artifacts from the Congo

This is a place which stimulates the senses all year round. The mirror pool welcomes you in and from there you can explore the different garden rooms. You’ll find beds of perennials, large natural rocks, lavender hedges, beautiful roses and in pride of place at the centre of the garden the pool with its glittering water encircled by a wooden deck. There are several spots to sit and take in the surroundings. An orangery provides the perfect place to grow tomatoes and cucumber and dahlias and other flowers are grown in the cutting garden. If you are after some shade we recommend going through the rose tunnel. The kitchen garden is also well worth a visit. Come and enjoy the scents and sights of a harmonious garden.

Different kinds of textile products, trays, baskets and other artifacts made in the Congo are for sale here. Your purchase supports young Congolese entrepreneurs. The garden is owned and run by garden designer Kristina Lindström.

Accessibility in the garden is good in parts. Unfortunately there is no public toilet. Dogs on leads are welcome. Fika is served, included in the entrance fee. The garden is open for visitors on selected dates, see the website for more info. Larger groups, garden associations and suchlike can also book garden tours on other days.
