A nursery with rarities

50 years ago the nursery opened in beautiful Viskadalen, with the emphasis on having a selection of bushes, trees and perennials that’s a bit different. It’s still run by the same family, in the same spirit as before, with plants cultivated outdoors. You can see our range as it’s growing!

A visit to the nursery takes you into two private gardens. The old nursery garden dates from the 1950s, and the other private garden from the 1970s. You’ll get to see everything from ponds and dry stone walls to perennial borders and pretty woodland here.

Join our scheduled guided walks (in Swedish), book a private one, or stroll around the gardens on your own, with the picnic you’ve brought. During the tour we’ll talk, amongst other things, about the plants that attract pollinating insects, and the garden’s connection to the Bee Fund.

Ring to arrange visits outside the usual opening times. We run short courses in various things including pruning and planting, or longer courses on planning your own garden patch.

Arrive by car. There’s parking next to the nursery, and a toilet for guests. Dogs are welcome. There are some narrow paths in the garden but a little detour makes wheelchair accessibility possible.
